Murder-accused in police net

MAR 20, KATHMANDU. Police on Wednesday arrested two persons convicted of murdering Bhishan Simkhada aged around 30 of Darkha VDC-7, Dhading on December 3, 2012.

A team deputed from Police Central Investigation Bureau netted them with weapons from Kathmandu Metropolis-4, Raramarga.

The arrested are Dhan Bahadur Tamang, 34, of Sabhari, Nuwakot, currently living in Kathmandu and Santa Bahadur Tamang, 26, of Darkha, Dhading, now staying in Kapan, police confirmed.

Police confiscated the US-made 9-mm pistol, its 7-round bullet and magazine from the convicts.

The mastermind of the incident Dhan Bahadur was sent to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu while his accomplice Santa Bahadur was remanded to District Police Office, Dhading for further actions.

The Tamang group killed Simkhada the same day on December 3 after the murder of Bijaya Bahadur Gurung of Darkha, Dhading. RSS
